Darkest Dungeon gets new DLC 'The Fire's Edge' — out August 18

Red Hook Studios announced The Fire's Edge, paid DLC for the original Darkest Dungeon, releasing August 18 on PC, PS4 and Nintendo Switch. It brings two Darkest Dungeon 2 heroes (The Duelist and The Runaway), adds Burn damage interactions, revised trinket mechanics, and three new Hamlet districts. The studio says it will aim to preserve mod compatibility and is developing an improved mod manager. Developers confirmed Darkest Dungeon 2 will receive DLC in 2027.
