OpenPuck lets Steam Controller emulate Xbox, Switch and PlayStation
OpenPuck is a DIY project from GitHub user safijari that uses a Pro Micro NRF52840 board to make the Steam Controller emulate Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation controllers. The ~$8 board is flashed over USB-C to act as the Steam wireless puck, after which the controller connects wirelessly and modes are switched via the four back buttons plus X/Y/B. Some modes and features are platform-limited (DualSense is PC-only; Switch and PS3 modes reported working on real consoles) and other caveats apply.
