Krispy Kreme launches limited-time Pokémon doughnut collection on Aug 18

Krispy Kreme will release a limited-time Pokémon Doughnut Collection starting August 18, featuring designs for Pikachu, Charmander, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Jigglypuff and a Poké Ball. Pikachu is lemon crème with an "electrifying" drizzle and a Pikachu piece, and Charmander is filled with chocolate and toasted marshmallow; other designs are customized original glazed doughnuts. Preorders are available now on Krispy Kreme's website, a special-edition dozen is around $21 (US), and the promotion includes collectible cups and an in-store free-doughnut offer on August 22.
