Spider-Man: Brand New Day Boosts Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Sales by Hundreds of Thousands
Spider-Man: Brand New Day has grossed $1.6 billion and coincided with a large sales surge for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. The 2023 game sold 316,000 additional paid copies on PS5 and PC and gained another 274,000 players through PlayStation Plus, generating $11 million in paid sales. The lift pushed lifetime totals to 18.2 million units and over $1.2 billion in revenue, and Insomniac issued a PS5 Pro PSSR update to coincide with the film's launch.
