Rockstar blocks Diamond Casino gambling for GTA Online players in Australia

Rockstar Games has blocked Australian players from using the Diamond Casino's gambling features in GTA Online, removing access to three-card poker, blackjack, roulette, slots and the Lucky Wheel. The casino uses virtual chips that can be purchased with real money but cannot be converted back into cash. A data leaker confirmed the game's code was updated to restrict gambling in Australia. The change follows the Australian government's recent crackdown on online gambling and strips Australians of a feature added in 2019.
