Flint Sugar's new donghua False Memory will stream for free on YouTube next month. Created by indie 2D animators Shuyu Li and Wenyu Liu, it’s an introspective coming-of-age story wrapped in surreal science fiction about a boy who finds a time-altering device. A longtime anime fan has noted similarities with a series from more than two decades ago.
