World of Warcraft adds viral raccoon Jimothy as earnable pet in patch 12.1

Blizzard is adding Jimothy, the viral short-spined raccoon, as an earnable companion pet in the upcoming 12.1 "Curse of Ula'tek" update. The pet is undergoing visual and functional testing and is targeted to go live with the patch, though that could change. Patch 12.1 also introduces home pet placement, allowing up to 10 indoor and 5 outdoor pets with different behavior options.
