God of War Laufey dated for Feb 16, 2027; next game returns to Kratos

Sony Santa Monica announced at San Diego Comic-Con 2026 that God of War Laufey will release on February 16, 2027. Director Cory Barlog confirmed the game will ship on physical discs and that it continues Faye’s story while setting up a new Kratos-led sequel. The game was first shown with 20 minutes of gameplay in June 2026 and now joins a crowded February 2027 release window.
