Former PlayStation boss Shawn Layden proposes return to double-A games
Shawn Layden, who led PlayStation's first-party studios, says triple-A development is unsustainable as costs double each generation. He advocates reviving double-A (AA) games as a more viable model and says he has a plan to do so. Layden outlined his views and proposal in an interview with Tom Phillips.
