Universal to adapt 10 Atari games into films, including Pong and Breakout

Atari and Entertainment 360 have signed a deal giving Universal Pictures rights to turn ten Atari games into movies. The slate includes Pong, Breakout, Asteroids, Centipede and Missile Command. The adaptations are being developed as large-scale action-adventure films with producers and writers attached. Some of the projects were previously announced, notably Missile Command, Centipede and Asteroids.
