Hasbro takes $56M video-game write-down, narrows digital strategy

Hasbro recorded a $56 million non‑cash impairment tied to video-game projects scheduled for 2028 and beyond after canceling several titles. The company says it will cut overall digital spend and concentrate investment on fewer, larger games and partners. New priorities are focus, cost discipline, ownable platforms and partnership, with a tilt toward trading card and role‑playing games.
