FBI arrests 21-year-old over malware in Steam-listed games
The FBI arrested 21-year-old Zyaire Dontaevious Zamarion Wilkins in Florida, accusing him of distributing malware embedded in several Steam-listed games. The complaint says the malware infected about 8,000 PCs and enabled theft of more than $200,000 in cryptocurrency. Authorities say Wilkins and two unnamed co-conspirators promoted the games on Discord, Telegram, X and LinkedIn and were traced through Google cookie records and device seizures.
