Jennifer English exits Tides of Annihilation lead role to focus on health

Jennifer English, known for playing Shadowheart in Baldur's Gate 3 and a BAFTA-winning performance in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, has withdrawn from the role of Gwendolyn in Tides of Annihilation to prioritise her mental and physical health. Developer Eclipse Glow Games said she notified them in June and they respected her decision. The studio added English helped with the transition and identifying potential replacements. Tides of Annihilation remains in development and is among the top 50 wishlisted games on Steam.
