Cliff Bleszinski: ego, publishing deal partly to blame for LawBreakers' failure

Cliff Bleszinski told 80.lv that personal decisions and business choices contributed to LawBreakers' commercial failure and Boss Key's closure. He said wanting Boss Key to be ‘his’ studio led him to pass on collaborating with Rod Fergusson and overestimate creator-based loyalty. He also cited a Nexon publishing deal with misaligned incentives, timing, art choices, personal struggles, and reduced leadership involvement.
