Dutch group says PlayStation disc phase-out strengthens €400m lawsuit

Dutch consumer group Stichting Massaschade & Consument (SM&C) is pursuing a €400 million suit against Sony over the PlayStation Store's 30% commission. SM&C argues Sony's plan to stop selling physical PlayStation discs by 2028 removes the second‑hand market and any alternative to the store, concentrating price and usage control.
