Genki Manta controller packs LCD, maglev haptics and advanced customization
Genki launched the Manta controller on Kickstarter and has raised $371,000 against a $100,000 goal, offering an early-bird price of $189 and a planned retail price of $279. The wireless controller features a 2.9-inch bottom-mounted LCD for changing profiles, inspecting input mapping, testing inputs and viewing connection, polling rate and battery details in real time. Hardware highlights include tristage adjustable triggers, drift-resistant adjustable sticks, maglev haptics, Pulse Buttons, a 2,600mAh battery and a keyboard-and-mouse mode. The Manta runs MantaOS on a Raspberry Pi RP2350 microcontroller, stores profiles and macros on-device, and is compatible with PC, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.
