New Crossfire is the second singleplayer game using Korea’s Crossfire brand

Smilegate’s upcoming Crossfire is a new singleplayer milsim built around a novel cover mechanic and an evolving relationship between its leads. The Crossfire name is already attached to a previous singleplayer effort: Remedy developed two short Call of Duty–style campaigns titled CrossfireX a few years ago. Remedy’s campaigns ran about three hours each and focused on squad-based street fights and cinematic set pieces. The coincidence makes the current Crossfire the second solo shooter spawned from Korea’s long-running Crossfire multiplayer franchise.
