Dave Bautista to play Kratos in Amazon’s God of War after Ryan Hurst injury

Dave Bautista will portray Kratos in Amazon’s live-action God of War series, replacing Ryan Hurst. Hurst tore a bicep performing a stunt in June and required surgery that would have kept him out of production until 2027, prompting Amazon and Sony to recast rather than pause filming.
