NBA 2K27 overhauls MyCareer and core gameplay ahead of Sept. 4 launch

NBA 2K27 launches September 4 (August 26 for Deluxe/Ultra editions) with major changes to story mode, gameplay, and core modes. MyCareer gains 'eras' and cooperative play, while MyPlayer now allows female characters in The City. ProPLAY-driven animation updates, a Dynamic Layup Engine, and revamped defensive systems raise the game's offensive and defensive skill ceilings and alter progression systems.
