PlayStation Plus to Remove 10 Extra/Premium Game Catalog Titles, Including Persona and Toy Story

Sony will remove ten games from the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for Extra- and Premium-tier subscribers; the company has not published exact departure dates. The list includes EA Sports Madden NFL 26, Persona 5 Tactica, three Shadowrun releases, two Toy Story games and several tactical-RPGs. Toy Story 2 and Toy Story 3 are being removed ahead of the Toy Story: Retro Roundup compilation launching Oct. 15 on PC and consoles, so subscribers have a limited window to finish these titles.

• The ten games leaving the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog are: EA Sports Madden NFL 26; Persona 5 Tactica; Romance of the Three Kingdoms 13; Toukiden 2; Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back; Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue; Toy Story 3; Shadowrun Returns; Shadowrun Hong Kong: Extended Edition; Shadowrun Dragonfall: Director’s Cut.
• Sony has not published exact removal dates for these ten games; nine other Game Catalog titles left the catalog today, indicating the ten listed will be removed in the near term and players have only a short window to play them.
• Toy Story 2 and Toy Story 3 are being pulled ahead of the Toy Story: Retro Roundup collection, which launches on Oct. 15 for PC and consoles and bundles several classic Toy Story-era games.
• The Shadowrun entries are Harebrained Schemes’ adaptations of the tabletop franchise, and Persona 5 Tactica is a grid-based tactical spin-off that reimagines the Persona 5 cast in a strategy format.
