Xbox to unveil new entry in a Microsoft-owned franchise at Gamescom, developed externally

Microsoft will announce a new game at Gamescom that is a new entry in an existing Microsoft-owned franchise rather than a new IP. The project will be developed by a studio Microsoft does not own and is explicitly not a new Banjo-Kazooie title.
