Netflix shutters Night School Studios and plans to close Moonloot after Unhinged launch

Netflix is closing Night School Studios and is planning to shut its Helsinki-based Moonloot studio. Night School released Unhinged on June 30, a game Netflix highlighted as one of its two most successful cloud-game debuts during its second-quarter earnings a month later. Netflix says it is refocusing its games business around specific areas — Kids, Party, Narrative and Mainstream — and is making organizational changes to concentrate execution.
