Stop Killing Games backs Dutch lawsuit challenging Sony's digital-only plan

Stop Killing Games has joined Dutch consumer group Stichting Massaschade & Consument in a lawsuit opposing Sony's plan to stop selling physical PlayStation discs. The groups argue ending discs will eliminate the second-hand market and leave Sony as the sole gatekeeper for pricing and how long consumers can use games starting in 2028. They cite price gaps between digital and physical copies as evidence of consumer harm. The case targets control over game ownership, resale options, and long-term access to PlayStation titles.
