CD Projekt Red's Project Sirius cuts 9 staff, reassigns 9 amid development shift
The Molasses Flood, now part of CD Projekt Red, laid off nine people from Project Sirius and moved nine more to other projects as the company shifts its development strategy. The studio previously cut over 25 Project Sirius staff in 2023 while implementing a new framework for the game. Project Sirius — announced in October 2022 as a new Witcher entry — remains under development alongside other CD Projekt Red projects including Cyberpunk 2, The Witcher 4–6, and a partnership with Scopely.
