Stage Tour reveals first 25 songs including Smash Mouth, Radiohead; console & PC launch
Embracer-owned RedOctane Games announced the first 25 licensed songs for Stage Tour, a new music game from the studio behind Guitar Hero. The setlist features artists such as Smash Mouth, Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Weezer, Ghost and Slipknot. Stage Tour supports solo and group play on guitar, drums, keyboard and vocals, includes a Gibson Kramer–branded guitar controller and in-game instruments from Gibson, Epiphone and Kramer, and is due on console and PC later this year with additional tracks to be revealed at Gamescom.
- Announced tracks include 'All Star' (Smash Mouth), 'Just' (Radiohead), 'Dani California' (Red Hot Chili Peppers), 'Island In The Sun' (Weezer), 'Square Hammer' (Ghost) and 'Psychosocial' (Slipknot).
- Stage Tour is developed by RedOctane Games, owned by Embracer, and built by the iteration of the studio that created the original Guitar Hero series.
- Gameplay supports solo or group sessions on guitar, drums, keyboard and vocals, following the Guitar Hero/Rock Band-style format.
- Peripherals include a specially designed Gibson Kramer guitar controller and a modulator guitar kit; more artists and tracks will be announced later this summer, including at Gamescom, ahead of a launch later this year on console and PC.
