Helldivers 2 joins PlayStation Plus Game Catalog on Aug 12; new expansion live

Helldivers 2 will be added to the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium Game Catalog for PS5 on August 12. Developer Arrowhead released a new expansion, Devoid of Liberty, the same day, introducing Void missions to destroy Illuminate spires, exterminate new threats, and earn rank progression. A community goal to eliminate 500 million enemies by August 18 will unlock four Helldiver PlayStation avatars, and nine games — including Dead Island 2, Harold Halibut and Unicorn Overlord — will leave PlayStation Plus on August 18, making this a significant moment for subscribers.
