Lord of the Rings: War in the North returns to Steam as Legacy Edition
The 2011 action RPG Lord of the Rings: War in the North has been relisted on Steam in a Legacy Edition with gameplay, UI and stability improvements. The re-release from Aspyr restores a title that was delisted from Steam in early 2019 after poor sales and middling reviews at launch. The Legacy Edition adds hot-swappable characters, refined enemy-target locking, an improved interface, a new autosave feature and numerous bug fixes, and revisits the untold story of Agandaûr in the ruins of Fornost. Embracer — which owns Aspyr and Middle-earth Enterprises — has announced plans to spin off Middle-earth assets into a company called Fellowship Entertainment.
