Take-Two defends $80 GTA 6 price; Ultimate edition costs $100
Take-Two confirmed Grand Theft Auto 6 will sell for $80 for the base edition, with an Ultimate Edition at $100 that adds exclusive vehicles, weapons, apparel and story-linked content for protagonists Jason and Lucia. Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick called the $80 price a bargain, arguing the company aims to deliver more value than it charges and that game pricing has not kept pace with inflation. The publisher said not all its titles will move to the higher price, keeping NBA 2K27 at $70. An analyst warned earlier that a higher GTA 6 price could set a new industry standard above $70.
