Cancel PlayStation Plus: Steps for Web, PS5 and PS4

PlayStation subscribers can cancel their PlayStation Plus membership online, on PS5, or on PS4 using simple menu options. Membership benefits continue until the end of the current billing cycle, after which access to monthly games, online multiplayer, and cloud storage is removed. August PlayStation Plus additions include Big Walk, Dying Light 2, and Signalis, which cancelling members will no longer receive after their billing period ends. Sony will stop supporting physical game discs starting January 2028, a broader industry shift that may affect subscription and ownership choices.

• Cancel on the web: Sign in to Account Management → Subscription → select Cancel Subscription next to PlayStation Plus.
• Cancel on PS5: Settings → Users and Accounts → Account → Payment and Subscriptions → Subscriptions → PlayStation Plus → Cancel Subscription.
• Cancel on PS4: Go to PlayStation Plus → Manage Membership → Subscription → select Cancel Subscription.
• After cancellation you keep member benefits until the current billing cycle ends; afterwards you lose monthly games, online multiplayer, and online storage; August additions include Big Walk, Dying Light 2, and Signalis; Sony ends physical disc support January 2028.
