Fields of Mistria 1.0 launches with rideable chicken, marriage, new quests

NPC Studio has moved Fields of Mistria out of early access with a 1.0 release that adds a rideable chicken mount and finishes previously incomplete content. The update makes romance systems first-class by adding proposal events, weddings, marriage and children, and raises progression caps for town renown and NPC heart levels. Steam Achievements are now available and awarded retroactively, and beta localization for seven languages has been added to open the game to more international players. These changes complete long-promised features and expand endgame progression and accessibility for both new and veteran players.

• 1.0 release ends two years of early access and adds a large rideable chicken mount for traveling around the town of Mistria.
• Previously incomplete quests The Town Repair and The Museum are now completable; two new quests — Saturday Market Plaza and Repair the Bell Tower — were added.
• Progression caps increased: Town Renown cap raised to 100 and NPC Heart Level cap raised to 10; the update adds 10 Heart Proposal events plus wedding, marriage and children systems.
• Steam Achievements have been added and will be awarded retroactively (players can start a new save to avoid retroactive awards); beta localization added for Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, French, Japanese, Korean, Russian and Spanish, with some text temporarily appearing in English while localizations are refined.
