Pulsar and Yonsei lab launch global 19‑page mouse-use survey; nine winners get mice
Pulsar Gaming and the High-Performance Human-Computer Interaction Lab at Yonsei University opened a 19-page academic survey on August 5 to collect quantitative data on how gamers hold and use mice, running through August 24. The survey is available in English, Japanese and Korean and asks detailed questions including game types, number of mice used and finger (phalange) measurements. Responses will form an empirical baseline for engineering future gaming-mouse designs. Nine respondents will be randomly selected to receive a Pulsar gaming mouse and will be contacted on August 26.
- Survey period runs August 5–24 and is 19 pages long, offered in English, Japanese and Korean.
- Survey questions cover play habits, number of meaningful mice used and hand measurements such as phalange length.
- Study is a formal collaboration between Pulsar Gaming and Yonsei University’s High-Performance Human-Computer Interaction Lab to create quantitative design standards for next‑generation mice.
- Nine survey participants will be randomly chosen to receive a Pulsar gaming mouse; winners will be contacted on August 26.
