Ex-Sony exec Shuhei Yoshida calls Bloodborne's missing PC/PS5 releases 'a complete mystery'
Shuhei Yoshida said at Japan's CEDEC keynote that he is a huge fan of Bloodborne and finds it mysterious that the game has never received a PC release or a native PS5 version. He noted Bloodborne's last major update was The Old Hunters expansion in November 2015 and highlighted that it still lacks 60fps or 4K patches for PS4 Pro, PS5, or PS5 Pro. Yoshida's comments carry weight because he served as president of Sony Interactive Entertainment Worldwide Studios, moved to head PlayStation Indies in 2019, and retired in 2025.
